Cricket Point is designed to let users score cricket matches locally and publish selected match information so other people can view live scores online.

1. Overview

Cricket Point (“we”, “our”, “us”, or the “App”) is a cricket scoring application developed by Sumon's Team. The App supports cricket live scoring, local scoring, and online live viewing of match scores.

By using Cricket Point, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

The information collected depends on how you use Cricket Point. We aim to collect only information that is reasonably needed to provide the App's features.

Guest Use You may use supported features without creating a permanent account. Information generated during guest use may be stored locally or processed as necessary to provide the selected feature.
Google Sign-In If you choose Google authentication, we may receive account information made available through the Google sign-in process, such as your name, email address, profile identifier, and profile image where provided.
Cricket Data You may create and manage matches, teams, players, scores, innings, and related cricket information. Some of this information can be displayed online.
Technical Information Depending on the platform and services used, technical information such as device/app information, diagnostic data, and logs may be processed to maintain reliability, security, and performance.

Please do not enter sensitive personal information, passwords, financial information, government identification numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive data into player, team, match, or other public-facing fields.

3. How We Use Information

Information may be used to:

  • Provide cricket scoring, match management, and live-score features.
  • Create and manage user sessions and accounts.
  • Authenticate users who choose Google Sign-In.
  • Save and synchronize matches, teams, players, and scores where online features are used.
  • Display published match information to viewers.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the App.
  • Detect misuse, unauthorized access, fraud, or activity that may harm the service.
  • Respond to support requests and communicate about service-related matters.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations when required.

4. Public and Online Match Data

Important: Cricket Point is designed to support online live score viewing. If you create or publish a match, team, player list, or related cricket data for online viewing, that information may be accessible to other people through the App or related online interfaces.

Publicly viewable information can include match names, team names, player names, scores, innings information, overs, wickets, events, and other cricket statistics entered by the user.

Users should only publish information they have the right to share. If you are entering information about another person, make sure you have an appropriate basis to share that information publicly.

5. Google Authentication

Cricket Point may offer Google Sign-In as an optional authentication method. When you choose this option, authentication is handled through Google's services. We receive only the account information made available to our application through the authentication flow and use it for account access and related functionality.

Your use of Google services is also subject to Google's own terms and privacy practices. Cricket Point does not control how Google processes information on Google's systems.

6. When Information May Be Shared

We may share or disclose information in the following situations:

  • Public sharing by design: cricket data that you choose to publish for online viewing may be visible to other users.
  • Service providers: information may be processed by trusted technical providers that help us operate authentication, hosting, databases, analytics, security, or other necessary infrastructure, where applicable.
  • Legal requirements: information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or a valid governmental request.
  • Safety and security: information may be disclosed when necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or property of users, the service, or others.

We do not intend to sell your personal information. We also do not make private account information publicly visible merely because you use the App; public visibility primarily applies to cricket content that is created or published for online viewing.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested services, maintain account and match functionality, resolve disputes, enforce applicable agreements, and comply with legal obligations.

If you want to request deletion of your account or personal information, contact us using the support email below. We may need enough information to verify the request and identify the relevant account or data.

Public match content may require additional handling if it is associated with a match or event that other users are actively viewing. We will review deletion requests in accordance with applicable law and our operational requirements.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Age Requirement

Cricket Point is intended for users who are 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly design the service for children under 13.

If you believe that a person under 13 has provided personal information through Cricket Point, please contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate action where required.

  • Request access to certain personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
