Lodu Board did not begin as a big studio project. It began as a familiar board on a quiet evening — four colors, one dice, and the same arguments families have had for decades: who got the six, who sent whom home, who was “just one square away.”
Sumon's Team, inside Oboshesh, builds small apps people actually open again. Expense Minder for the household ledger. Daily Care for the routines that keep a day together. SP Manager for the work that cannot slip. Kicknox and Taptern for the moments in between. After those tools, the team wanted something lighter: a game that still felt like sitting around a table.
Build started on 31 August 2026. The brief was simple. Classic Ludo. Clean board. Honest dice. An AI opponent for when no one else is free. No noise, no fake ratings, no rush to look launched. Five days later, on 5 September 2026, the first testing release went out — unfinished on purpose, so real matches could tell us what the pixels could not.
We are still in that testing season. Tokens will move. Rules will tighten. The board will get quieter and clearer. If you are here early, you are part of the first room. Thank you for rolling with us.
